How Does Zoom Teeth Whitening Work?

This non-invasive dental procedure utilises a Zoom Lamp Light to break down the hydrogen peroxide in the whitening gel, enabling oxygen to enter the tooth’s dentin and enamel. While the white stains are bleached, the tooth structure remains intact, and the patient virtually feels no pain apart from a tingling sensation.

After the initial examination, the teeth are cleaned thoroughly to remove plaque and food particles which may affect the whitening process. Your dentist will use a retractor to cover your gums and lips, so that only your teeth are exposed. Additionally, this brace will help keep your mouth open to protect your lips from chemical damage. Protective eyewear will also be utilised for UV ray protection.
